Process conditions of ABS plastic injection molding:

Mold temperature: General mold temperature 65 * 85 ° C, production of parts with large projection area, fixed mold temperature is required 70 * 80, dynamic mold temperature is required 50 * 60. Mold temperature will affect the surface finish of plastic parts, the lower the temperature, the lower the surface finish.




Injection working pressure: high injection pressure is adopted.




Injection speed: medium and high speed.




Material quantity control: each injection volume is only 75% of the standard injection volume




The engineering plastics have excellent comprehensive properties, excellent impact strength, good dimensional stability, electrical properties, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeing, good molding and machining. However, phosphorous flame retardants are not suitable for ABS granulation because they are mostly liquid compounds with low melting point. Therefore, the current ABS flame retardant system mainly uses halogen flame retardants, among which the best flame retardant effect is bromo-containing organic compounds, such as decabromodiphenyl ether (DBDPO), tetrabromodiphenol A, etc..
